This30g fleece is ideal for greenhouse insulation or for protecting plants and crops. Much thicker than standard fleece making it stronger and warme. Will protect down to -5/6oC.

30g Fleece is almost double the thickness of standard lightweight fleece. It is much stronger and provides considerably more frost protection

Ideal for protection of tender shrubs against frost damage. Ideal for insulating the greenhouse, on soft fruit, early potatoes and for overnight covering of plants which are being 'hardened off'.

Large - Erected size: 1.52m wide 800mm high (Approx. 5ft x 2ft 7ins).
The minimum cover width is 2.6m add 1.6m to tunnel length when ordering covers to allow for the height.

Small - Erected size: 1.15m wide 600mm high (Approx. 3ft 9in x 2ft). The minimum cover width is 2.1m add 1.2m to tunnel length when ordering covers to allow for the height

All hoops come with clips for securing the fabric. As a guide the hoops should be spaced at approx. 1m intervals

Fleece 17g - Standard Garden Fleece
Standard garden fleece which will enable you to protect plants from frost damage. Protects down to -2/3oC

Protect early crops and tender plants against the weather, insect pests and damage from small birds. Water light and air can pass through the material.

Vegetables & Salad Crops
Cover the crop immediately after sowing or planting and secure the fleece on all sides. Preferably fold the edge to give a double layer and secure every 15m with Tri-Pegs, stones or timber.

Tender Plants and Shrubs
These should be loosely wrapped and secured with string if a frost is forecast. It is preferable to use Envirofleece 30g for this purpose for added insulation.

In the Greenhouse
Loosely drape the material over sensitive plants if there is a risk of frost. If the frost forecast is severe a double layer may be used.

Seed Trays and Cuttings
These may be covered continuously which will help prevent moisture loss and aid propagation.

Reseeding Lawns
When reseeding, cover with fleece immediately after sowing. This protects against small birds and conserves moisture, giving quicker and more even germination.
